The course selection portal will be open for current JIS grades 9 to 11 STUDENTS until March 24, 2025
Please follow these directions to complete your high school course selection.
Student logs into PowerSchool
Find the Class Registration icon. (see image below)
For each subject area click on the yellow “pencil” icon. This shows the available courses to choose from. (see image)
Click on the course you would like.
Click "Okay".
After you have selected courses for all subject areas, then click "submit" in the bottom right hand corner.
You can change your course selections as often as you like before the course selection window closes. If you do wish to do this, just repeat the steps above.
After your student has selected his/her classes, parents should take a minute to confirm and approve the selections.
Begin by logging into your Parent PowerSchool Account and clicking the "Class Registration" icon on the left.
You will see your student's course selections and a "Parent Approval" button.
Please double-check to make sure all is correct.
If all is in order simply check the "Parent Approval" box and click "Submit" to finish.
If you do not complete the parental approval section it will not impact your child's course choices in any way.
