John Hampden Grammar is an outstanding school with a long and proud history of educating able boys. We strive for excellence in everything we do at the school. In 2018 the House System was relaunched to promote positive participation in extra-curricular activities along with the sense of competition that is key to driving students to achieve their full potential.
The House System is made up of six houses; Carrington, Kelvin, Ramsay, Sheraton, Wren and most recently Brunel.

Each student is assigned to a house. Over the academic school year the students will compete in a number of events in order to be crowned House Champions.
Every term there is a wide range of events that students can participate in to earn points for their house.
