"The Nextgen After School Program is designed to help students get extra support with homework, projects, and get them caught up at school. We engage them with character development lessons, STEM and STEAM projects, mentorship ,and tutoring components. Please see flyer below for more information. The program is $30 per week per student. Space is extremely limited." Students will walk to the NextGen building with an adult from the program and will need to be picked up from that location. HW policy is being revised. SBDM tasked a sub-committee and they will be sending the 1st read of the policy to SBDM on August 29th.
The first day to have lunch at NES with your kiddos will be on August 26th, Monday through Thursday. If you would like to have lunch, please call the front office and talk to Ms. Braun to reserve.

iReady testing starts next week! These results help us make sure that every student is getting just what they need. Families can help by encouraging students to do their best and making sure they get a good night of rest. Learn more about iReady here, and you can see our testing schedule in the table below.

All early primary students will be performing on grade level in reading and math by the end of 2nd grade, while all students in grades 3-5 will maintain or exceed grade level expectations in reading and math.
