Grab your empowerment and leadership opportunity
Students can get involved in their community by joining the Kumar for Congress 2022 all-year Internship program. There are many opportunities for you to get involved, while setting your own schedule.
Joining the Fellowship Program would allow you to:
- Get a letter of recommendation at the end of the program upon request
- Confirm volunteer hours as per your request
- Earn valuable political, leadership experience, and MVP awards while working alongside dozens of your peers
This internship will likely help you with your college applications: College admission teams are now reading essays with a fine tooth-comb. Without SAT and ACT scores, college essays and volunteer work have become much more important. Not just activity - students need to demonstrate genuine impact and leadership. This political internship provides interns the opportunity to showcase their leadership, get volunteer hours, even a recommendation letter, and make an impact in their local community.

The Jefferson Adult Education in partnership with Skyline College is currently offering the NETX Program.
The program is for individuals who are interested in computers, specifically IT. After completing 3-4 classes, students are eligible to apply for a paid internship at a data center located in Palo Alto, CA. Also, upon completing the program, students are eligible to take the exam to earn their IT certificate. Lastly, as mentioned in the high school counselors meeting, I received news that the student does not have to be at least 17.5 years old or older to enroll into the program.
