Day 3: Hyperbole, Pun, Imagery

This PearDeck presentation begins with a review of the previous day's terms (figurative, literal, simile, metaphor, personifications) then introduces students to the terms hyperbole, imagery, and pun. Just like the previous day's lesson plan, students are required to attempt writing a sentence or two which contain each of these figurative language devices.

Extension Activity: Have students return to their song-analysis document and identify hyperbole, pun, and imagery.
