Lesson Plan

1. Post instructions and links in Google Classroom.
2. Warm-Up: (20 minutes)
3. After quickly summarizing the previous day's reading, begin playing the audio for Ch. 18-20, found here (total of 31 minutes) * I recommend taking a break for a few minutes between chapters to ask students to come up with questions and inferences about what has just been read. (30-40 minutes)
4. Have students login to Google Classroom to access reading EDPuzzle video. This is a short clip from the movie "Wall-E" depicting a futuristic world where people are overly reliant on technology. In order to see student responses you must connect your Google Classroom to EDPuzzle, for help click here. (20-30 minutes)
