The Jefferson County Public Schools Board of Education has established the requirements for promotion to high school. ILP's are required for all students in grades 6-12 as part of Kentucky's graduation requirements.
Backpack of Successful Skills
Backpack of Successful Skills
Eighth grade students will collect evidence for each of the five Success Skills (an effective communicator, a prepared and resilient learner, an emerging innovator, a culturally competent citizen, and a productive collaborator) using an online platform. Each student in the 8th grade will have to defend their growth and readiness in each of the five Success Skills before a panel using pictures, videos or written reflections he or she has collected.
