GOAL: To Equip Teachers with Strategies for Continuous Curriculum-Based Assessment of Progress
This toolkit teaches effective ways to collect formative assessment data to inform future lesson planning and instruction.
Can be formal or informal in nature
Includes curriculum-based measurement, curriculum-based assessment, or teacher observation
Captures data allowing a teacher to evaluate student performance as it relates to learning targets and objectives.
Measures a student’s performance during and at the conclusion of instruction and is considered evaluation FOR learning
