Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Follow these steps to add the Rapid Identity app or an authenticator app. Plan on about 10 minutes, and have your phone and a computer ready.
On a computer, go to jcps.me/ri and sign in with your JCPS email or username and password.
Enter the 6-digit code texted to your phone, then select Go.
If you land on the GO! View page, select your profile icon (top right), then Return to Enterprise View.
Select your name (top right), then Profile Settings.
Now pick the method you want below.
In Profile Settings, check that your mobile number is listed under Contact. If not, select Edit Profile, add it, and select Save.
Select your name, then Enroll Mobile for Push Notifications. Select Continue.
You'll get a text with two links and an authorization code. Tap the first link and install the Rapid Identity app. You don't need to open it.
Tap the second link in the text. When your browser asks, select Open.
Type the Authcode from the text and tap Submit.
Create a 6-digit PIN, tap Submit, then tap OK.
Back on the computer, go to Profile Settings and select Edit Profile.
Under MFA Options, add Push Notification. Set Primary MFA Method to Push Notification, then select Save.
Done! Next time you sign in, tap Approve on your phone.

Works even without cell signal or Wi-Fi. Use either app.
In Profile Settings, select Add Another MFA Option, then choose Authenticator App.
Set Primary MFA Method to Authenticator App, then select Save.
Select your name, then Logout. Sign back in at jcps.me/ri
A QR code screen appears. Leave it open.
On your phone, install Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator from the App Store or Google Play.
Add your account and scan the QR code on your computer screen. In Google Authenticator, tap Add a code, then Scan a QR code. In Microsoft Authenticator, tap Add account, then Work or school account, then Scan QR code.
The app shows a 6-digit code under RapidIdentity. Type it on the computer and select Go.
Done! At each sign-in, open the app and enter the current code. It changes every 30 seconds.

Text message is on for everyone by default. To change the number your codes go to, open Profile Settings, select Edit Profile, update your mobile number, and select Save.
