Every JCPS employee uses MFA to sign in. After you enter your password, you confirm it's really you with your phone. This protects your account and our students' information, even if someone learns your password.
Text message (default): Already on for everyone. A 6-digit code is texted to you each time you sign in.
Rapid Identity app: Tap Approve on your phone. No code to type.
Authenticator app: Google or Microsoft Authenticator shows a code that changes every 30 seconds. Works without cell signal or Wi-Fi.
