Good afternoon! As mentioned in the town halls this week, the high school application window will open in November. I will come around to all of your classes the first couple weeks of October to discuss the ends and outs of applying to schools. Prior to my class visit, I need you to know what your home "resides" school is. In order to find out you home school, go to the link below and type in your home address. This is your first step in the process. Make sure in the next couple of weeks, you have identified your home school. We will talk about next steps in October.

If you did not get into the high school you were hoping to, you may put in for a hardship transfer starting May 3rd. Hardship transfers are reviewed on a similar basis to applications looking at grades, assessment scores and behavior records. If you are accepted through a hardship transfer, transportation IS NOT OFFERED. If accepted, you must provide your own transportation to and from school. If you are interested in applying for a hardship transfer, please review the steps in the document linked to the left.
To apply for a hardship transfer, you will need a parent portal or activation code. If you need your activation code, please email me at danielle.williams@jefferson.kyschools.us I have all 8th grade codes and can email yours to you.
