For live class sessions, we will access our Google Meet links from the Daily Stream in Google Classroom.
This course introduces students to the creative and conceptual aspects of designing and producing animated images for a variety of storytelling and multimedia presentations (dramatic narrative; artistic and experimental presentations and/or installations; ambient; interactive; immersive and performance media).

Updates will be made upon return to the classroom. When that happens, I will update and reissue the syllabus to reflect any changes. Grading and Attendance policies will remain the same all year.

*** The Unity Engine will be taught in all three advanced courses of the Interactive Media pathway. This software has a free student plan for premium features, but also offers a free download for professionals until certain acquisition thresholds are met.
** Students will learn Autodesk Maya in the Virtual Design course, and Autodesk also offers free educational licenses for all of their products.
* Products offering free educational licenses, but software will not be learned. Software choices are designated by industry certifications offered and designated by KACTE State requirements.
^ Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, and After Effects will be introduced and explored in part of the advanced courses, but we will be focusing on Unity Professional Skills Standards, the Digital Design and Game Development End-of-Program Assessment Standards, and Program of Studies standards to guide the curriculum for college and career transition readiness.
