For live class sessions, we will access our Google Meet links from the Daily Stream in Google Classroom.
Welcome to the new school year and the Interactive Media pathway courses! Even though school is going to look different, we are going to make the best of it. There are necessary skills to learn even in a virtual class setting that will give us the foundation to move forward and later, learn industry standard software that the professionals are using today. I'm excited to teach you new skills and get started!
These next few weeks we will get settled in. We will learn tools, procedures, and expectations we will use in class, so that we can succeed with our individual and team-based projects later. We'll work on team and community building so we can get to know each other. We want to have a positive, safe learning environment for everyone.
Before each session, I will post our class Google Meet link on our Google Classroom Daily Stream.
If you log into our Google Classroom, the Daily Stream should be the first screen you see.
My latest message for our class will be posted at the top.
At least 10 minutes before class, I will open up our Google Meet Room. You will also have access to this from the Google Calendar.
These are one-time code sessions.
This is the platform where you will access our class(es). We will use these features for daily warm-ups and exit slips, submitting work, creating group work, and more.
I will post Daily Stream messages for our Google Meet class sessions, reminders, and more.
Classwork tab will be divided into Assignments and Materials. You can use the left menu to filter the assignments and materials you are looking for.
Comments and Grades will also be utilized during our class on this platform. We'll go over how this works with the syllabus.
