If you need to change your accommodations, contact Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) as soon as possible but no later than 5 days before test day. Please note that accommodations cannot be added or waived on test day.
Instructions
Apply for accommodations.
The Accommodations website has information about eligibility and how to apply. It can take up to seven weeks for accommodations to be approved, so start the process as early as possible.
Register for the SAT with accommodations.
Once you're approved for accommodations, during registration, you'll need to confirm whether you want to use your accommodation(s) for the SAT.

Make sure you understand how your accommodations will be given on the SAT. See Using Accommodations for more information.
Ensure that your accommodations are listed on your admission ticket.
If they're not, call Services for Students with Disabilities at 212-713-8333 as soon as possible once your admission ticket appears in the Bluebook app.
Register to test. Create an account or sign in.
Online registration will ask you for your high school code and your accessibility needs.

You'll receive an email that must be sent to your school official
along with a completed Consent to Release Information to ACT (PDF) form.

3. A school official will submit your request, with documentation, to ACT.
ACT will review the request and email a Decision Notification to your school. A school official should contact you once they receive the decision notification. Requests are normally processed in 10 to 14 business days.
Review your admission ticket for accurate information
Correct First and Last name
Correct email addresses and mailing address
Correct test location
Make sure that the admission ticket indicates accommodations in the top right corner. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your counselor with a copy of your admission ticket.
