    • Why is NCDHM Important? NCDHM raises awareness of the importance of teaching children good oral habits early to ensure a lifetime of healthy smiles. Parents or caregivers are essential and can promote children's dental health this month and throughout the year. Keeping up with daily oral care (check out this brushing calendar) and visiting the dentist at least twice a year for an oral examination and professional cleanings are steps you can take toward a happier and healthier mouth! Setting the foundation for your child earlier in life will set your child up for success in the future.
    • To further celebrate and highlight the importance of NCDHM, the BHFRC will sponsor a fun and easy challenge; check out these great resources to promote healthy oral health; any student who completes one of the activity sheets will receive a FREE toothbrush to take home! All you have to do is print it out or have your student ask Ms. Elvira for a copy! All activity sheets are due by February 28th!
