Response to Haidar Alkhabi's “School isn’t about passing anymore"
The only words I can respond with to this fabulous article are: “I agree”. My favorite part about the article is when the author mentions and calculates student mental health emphasizing how poor emotional wellbeing is low among teens, and how school experience worsens it. I also sympathized and resonated with the words of those who were interviewed by the author. I too have noticed a change in my ways of thinking due to school like it has drained me of emotion.

Hi, it's Samra, you did an amazing job including photographs + pictures that relate to the school. This piece Is so fun to read, you have accomplished so much this year, and I'm so proud of you.
-Sincerely, Samra
This piece is very well written. I like how you included many of the people and associations that helped and how you went through each activity of the day. Letting people know what some specific tables provided, and which were most popular was very helpful. I also like how you explained the dance and story told in the auditorium. It was overall a good summary of how the day went and brought me back to how fun it was, Great Work!

Sultan Kurdi wrote an excellent article on what it is like to come to Brown High School from a high school/middle school that is different from Brown. Like Sultan I am new to Brown from a middle school that is extremely different from Brown High School. In the article Sultan spends time talking about how many students found addressing teachers by their first names was strange and took time to adjust to. I strongly agree with his statement. In this article Sultan mentions how many students found
many new friendships coming into Brown. I agree with this statement coming into this school I have made many new friendships I am grateful for.

You guys wrote an amazingly nice essay about the situations in Israel and Palestine. I really loved the detail of each paragraph and it truly caught my attention in a really good way. Including factors of the United States and how the public would respond was depicted in a very thorough way.The survey at the end was really interesting and thought it was very cool. You guys actually did so good. Amazing job!
