One form of communication we would like to use this year is called Remind 101. This enables us to send quick texts to a group or individuals such as 'early release today' or 'field trip'. This app keeps all contacts private. If you want to sign up here's how you do it:
For Mrs. Hays's class text @8c6b33 to 81010.
Mrs. Riscoe's class text @kriscoe to 81010
Dear Parents and Guardians-
It has been brought to our attention that there is some confusion about Think Sheets. At Witt we use Think Sheets as a way for students to reflect on a minor behavior that we are trying to discontinue. Behaviors that are not appropriate during class activities are first dealt with through a variety of ways (reminders, clarifying wanted behavior, discussing expectations, refocusing and more). If the behavior does not change then a student may be given a Think Sheet.
If a student brings home a Think Sheet please...
-discuss the appropriate or expected behavior with your student,
-sign the Think Sheet, and
-return it to school
This is a quick way to communicate with our parents/guardians. If you have any questions feel free to contact your teacher or Mrs. McDougal.
