Hello! My Name is Sammi Huckaby and this is my 7th year at Miller. I started out as a para in the OT/PT department and one on one for a student in preschool. I loved it here so much that I did my student teaching in the elementary program and stayed on. I recently finished my masters in ECSE last fall!
In my free time I love doing anything active. I play in 2 different indoor soccer leagues and you can almost always find me at the gym after work if I'm not playing soccer. Travel is also one of my passions and I'm always looking forward to my next destination. The students here at Miller are my passion and I love coming to work and being with them everyday. I can't wait for this school year and to work with such amazing families! I want to promote as much independence as possible and make sure their voice is heard.
