Repairs
It is the financial responsibility of families to pay repair costs for non-warranty items. Students will check out a "loaner" device from the library.
Procedure:
Turn in broken device to the library and check out a loaner device.
Upon device repair, student pays bill with financial secretary and brings receipt to the library where loaner is returned and repaired device given to student.
Lost or Stolen Devices
Lost device:
Notify the library of lost device.
Device will be locked with a message on the screen for anyone that finds it to turn it into SLHS.
Student may check out a loaner device for weeks to see if device is found and to purchase a new device, at full price, if not.
Stolen device:
Notify the library of stolen device.
Device will be locked with a message on the screen to turn it into SLHS.
Fill out a police report with the Campus Security Resource Officer.
Student may check out a loaner device for 2 weeks to see if device is returned and to purchase a new device, at full price, if not.
