Hello Preschool Families!

I'm thrilled to embark on this new year with all of you and your wonderful little ones! To give you a glimpse into who I am I wanted to share a few fun facts, I've lived in beautiful Arvada for most of my life, and Colorado will always hold a special place in my heart.

My passion for early childhood education ignited over 12 years ago, and it continues to grow stronger each day. I graduated from Metro State University of Denver in 2014 with an Elementary Education License. My previous experience in Montessori and play-based preschool settings has deeply influenced my teaching philosophy, and I'm excited to bring that approach to Jeffco.

Outside of the classroom, I'm blessed with three incredible daughters: Charlie, Violet, and Dahlia. They keep me on my toes, fill my days with laughter, and remind me of the simple joys of childhood and the wild ride of life with teens. When I'm not busy being a mom or a teacher, you can find me curled up with a good book, challenging friends to a board game, exploring local trails, or discovering new coffee shops and farmers markets.

Welcome, preschool friends! I am absolutely thrilled to kick off this year with all of you. As a proud 5th-generation Colorado native, and as a graduate from Broomfield High School, I have deep roots in this beautiful state and know this area well. I pursued my passion for early childhood education by obtaining my Community College of Denver certification. Recognizing the value of continued learning, I returned to school to earn my associate's degree in early childhood education and a coaching certificate. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in Jeffco Preschools, where I've watched countless children grow and thrive.

On a personal note, I have been happily married for 20 years to my wonderful husband, Jeff. Together, we have two beautiful daughters. One of our daughters is about to graduate from Standley Lake High School, marking an exciting new chapter in her life, while our younger daughter is enjoying her final year at Mandalay Middle School.

In my free time, I indulge in hobbies, including reading books, enjoying movies and television series, and cherishing moments spent with my family and friends. I look forward to an incredible year ahead filled with learning and fun!
