Our project had a unique problem that had been around for decades that we haven't solved. Our storm-water, is being polluted from storm water going one to one of our waterways unfiltered and dirty. We have figured out solution for this problem. People have already found solutions, but they are too expensive to be widely implemented. Our solution is different because our's is much smaller, but still as effective. Our solution is to make a filter inside the storm water inlet that is on the sides of the streets to make our storm water clean before we dispose of it later. Now, the dirty water flows downstream to where other people will use it later on. If that water is already filtered to a certain level then the process of cleaning the water after it is disposed onto the river would be a lot simpler.
