All About Ms. Orcutt

My Story

My name is Paige Orcutt, and I am a product of Red Rocks Elementary, Summit Ridge Middle School and Dakota Ridge High School. I ran track at Boise State University in Idaho. I am currently a dance teacher at Little Theater Dance Company. I was married for a few years, but I have been divorced for over four years now. I do triathlons. I competed for Team USA in Switzerland in 2019, and was supposed to compete in Edmonton and the Netherlands in 2020, but the COVID pandemic changed those plans.

This is my puppy, Kiya. She is 6 years old. She is a 125 pound Newfoundland/Great Pyranees mix.

This is my sister, Brooke, she lives in Cleveland, Ohio. She is three years younger than me and is a nutritionist/dietitian. She does Ironman triathlons.

This is my mom, Amy. She taught PE and coached gymnastics at Bear Creek High School for over 30 years. She is retired now.

This is my dad, Jim. He was a consular, teacher and coach before retiring. He referees youth sports, is a DJ and teaches college courses now.

This is Bery. We have been together for over three years. He is from Wyoming and wrestled at Mesa. He is a CPA.

My Teaching Experience

I have been teaching for eight years, and have been here at Red Rocks for seven. Before coming to Red Rocks I taught in Nampa, Idaho. I have taught fifth grade, a five/six combo, and third grade. Third grade is by far my favorite grade to teach and I am so excited to be teaching third grade again this year! I have my masters in Education Leadership. I also have my specialty license in math and am highly qualified in Reading.

Mrs. Rose teaches Art at Red Rocks Elementary. She is my best friend.
