INSTRUCTIONS:
Day 1 Pick a project to redo- why do you want to?
Day 2 Why do we use the magic invisible microphone? What are we doing when we talk about art we already did? Who remembers what the last step in the artistic cycle is? Discuss what reflecting is in the real world.
Day 3 Fill out the Artist Statement, document below

K &1 - NEED MARKERS & CRAYONS
Explore drawing with light bright colors and then cover with marker to see wax resist.
Optional* If you have watercolors and crayon, visit this site: Watercolor Wax Resist
Try to make secret messages for those you live with and have them discover what you wrote in white or light yellow crayons with a marker.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Draw with light and bright colors on a paper. Scribble marker over the crayon drawing. Discuss why this happens and ask what resists means.

SNOW DAY 2/25/21
Fold paper into triangles and cut up some snowflakes! Keep practicing using scissors! Use this website for more detailed instructions:
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut interesting shapes and use those like stencils to make patterns. You can use paint or drawing tools. Valentines day is coming up, maybe you could try folding a paper in half and making a heart!

Divide a paper into rectangles and fill those rectangles with a connected story with a beginning, middle, and end.

Day 1: Lines and shapes
Draw different lines on the ceiling with an imaginary marker. Draw all different kinds of lines and shapes on paper with crayons and discuss them in class.
Day 2: Lines and shapes with music and Kandinsky

Draw all different kinds of lines while listening to different genres of music. Let the music guide the rhythm and movement of a line. What shapes or colors come to mind when you hear different types of music?
Day 3: Castles out of shapes and lines
View slideshow of pictures of real castles. Draw your own castle using the shapes and lines we practiced.
Day 4: Collecting sketches and making a sketchbook
Continue on Castle Drawing. Do your best to fill the paper and leave no white spaces. Put all drawings from the week inside a folder or large (12"x18") construction paper.
Day 5: Cutting Shapes with Matisse
