INSTRUCTIONS:
Day 1 Pick a project to redo- why do you want to?
Day 2 Why do we use the magic invisible microphone? What are we doing when we talk about art we already did? Who remembers what the last step in the artistic cycle is? Discuss what reflecting is in the real world.

1 & K Fill in the Blanks Artist Statement
Day 4-5 Finish a final piece.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Day 1 Draw a circle with a horizontal line and an x over it, giving you a pizza with 6 slices. color each slice with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet in a wheel. Add details to make this color wheel into a turtle, pizza, or another object or animal.
Day 2-3 Discuss what makes a warm color and a cool color, for example a warm color is like the sun, and a cool color is like the ocean. Make a drawing for each set of colors.
Day 4-5 Echo Flower:
Draw a flower or another object using only warm colors.
Then draw lines in a pattern around the outside of the object. Use only cool colors.
Try the opposite! Put cool colors on an object and warm colors on the outside.

https://www.firstpalette.com/craft/paper-snowflake.html

K &1 - NEED MARKERS & CRAYONS
Explore drawing with light bright colors and then cover with marker to see wax resist.
Optional* If you have watercolors and crayon, visit this site: Watercolor Wax Resist
Try to make secret messages for those you live with and have them discover what you wrote in white or light yellow crayons with a marker.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Draw with light and bright colors on a paper. Scribble marker over the crayon drawing. Discuss why this happens and ask what resists means.
Watch the video below for a demonstration and practice a watercolor resist technique.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut interesting shapes and use those like stencils to make patterns. You can use paint or drawing tools. Valentines day is coming up, maybe you could try folding a paper in half and making a heart!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Divide a paper into rectangles and fill those rectangles with a connected story with a beginning, middle, and end.
