Marching Band

ABOUT THE MARCHING REBELS (SEMESTER 1 - HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR ALL BAND STUDENTS):

The Marching Band is the most visible ensemble of the Columbine Band Program. The Marching Band is composed of brass, woodwind, percussion, and color guard members in the program. It is the largest and most competitive ensemble offered at Columbine and students look forward to it every year! We perform at Columbine football games, pep events, homecoming events, and compete at Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA) competitions around the state. This is the premiere program in the fall semester and every band student is highly encouraged to join. The community of the Marching Band is tight knit and Marching Band students tend to be the most outstanding members of the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of a community, grow as a musician, and learn how to become a student leader.

• Jeffco Marching Festival: Tuesday, September 15th

• Legacy Marching Festival: Saturday, September 26th 

• Lakewood Marching Festival: Saturday, October 3rd

• 5A Metro Regionals: Thursday, October 15th 

• 5A State Championships: Friday, October 23rd-Saturday, October 24th 

• Football Games: August 28th, September 17th, September 25th, October 8th, and October 30th
