We are in a technology transition this year. Thanks to the mill and bond we will be getting a teaching wall put in each classroom at Bergen Valley. This will lead us to replacing existing audio visual equipment moving forward. The hope will be to update each room at Bergen Valley in the next 4 years. I am currently researching the best choice between the Mimio TV and Epson Short Throw Projectors. On December 8th, I met with an Elementary Tech Committee at VanArsdale Elementary. We visited schools and the Ed Center to decide which projection option would work best for elementary schools. Below is the presentation we created. We are going to bring our findings back to our schools to vote on the best projection tool.

Bergen Meadow will not get teaching walls but we will replace the audio visual equipment there after the shift at Bergen Valley.

This is the finalized Two Year Tech Plan. The plan has been discussed with Kathy Lane, Emily Elkins, Keri Douglass, and the staff at both Bergen Meadow and Bergen Valley. Laptop and Projection options were presented to the staff and a vote was taken. Both schools will get 20% new Lenovo E14 teacher laptops. Bergen Valley will fund raise for Epson Interactive Short Throw Projectors. Bergen Meadow will not get new AV equipment at this time.
