Jeffco Story Tellers

Monthly students enjoy a visit from Mrs. Linda who is a Jeffco Story Teller with the Jeffco Public Library. She tells stories and explaines story elements to all grade levels.

Collection Development

The Collection has been updated and 90% of our collection conisits of titles newer than 2015. With the help of PTSA and Bitrthday Book Club, we have an up to date, diverse, and ever growing collection. In the past two years we have sent $12,000 on new books!

Book Fair

We hold the poition for the highest selling book fair of May 2023! We sold over $23,000 using the Scholastic Book Fair. Our 5th grade students run the Book Fair and choose which books we will bring into our collection.

Birthday Book Club

The PTSA and parents fund the Birthday Book Club. Each student gets to choose a book to donate to the library on their birthday. This adds a book or two to our collection each day!

Library Buddies

All classrooms have a partner classroom who they visit the library with. This offers a great time to expore the library and buddy read.

5th Grade Mountaineer

One of the most exciting projects for 5th graders is the Mountaineer News Broadcast. Students research, script write, act, edit, and produce the school news broadcast.
