We built a Lego wall in the STEM Lab so students can create 3D models of cities on 1 acre plots...and to simply have FUN!
Students were given three days to design, collect recycled materials, and build an invention. This what such a blast!
Students were given three days to design, collect recycled materials, and build a vehicle. Their undestanding of elecric vehicles was astounding!
To meet engineering skills we are using Tinker Toys to build specific structures.
During the building workshop students can build with Straws and Jax while they wait for their roation with the teacher.
To learn about weight, speed, gravity, and length we have been building tracks and trying out different cars. We hope to pair this with Makey Makey and create timing devices.
Coding, coding, and more coding!

We use block coding to use many bots!
The basics of coding are using starting in preschool and kindergarten.
We loving using different materials with the Makey Makey!
We are designing trains and to evaluate load size and electrical currents.
We love coding using a remote!
It is a thinker! We are using geometry to understand the trojectory of angles and gravity.
R2D2 vs BB8 is really the question!!
