DRHS String Orchestra
The DRHS String Orchestra is a non-auditioned orchestra that plays developing/intermediate string orchestra literature. It is comprised mostly of Freshman and Sophomore students but is open to all grades who have prior experience playing string instruments. We meet on Cardinal Days during 6th Block (9:50-11:20am & 10:35-11:50am Late Start)

DRHS Chamber Orchestra
The DRHS Chamber Orchestra is an auditioned orchestra that plays intermediate/advanced literature. This class is comprised of mostly Junior and Senior students but is open to all grade levels based on their auditioned ability/skill level. We meet on Cardinal days during 7th Block (11:30am-1:00pm & 12:00-1:00pm Late Start)

DRHS Pit Orchestra
DRHS Pit Orchestra
The Musical Pit Orchestra is the "soundtack" to the Spring Musical every year! Auditions for Pit Orchestra are held approximately 2 weeks before Winter Break. All musicians in the pit, other then piano and drum-set, are DRHS music students.
