Jeffco Public Library Databases

What is a Database? How do I use Them?

A database is a collection of data arranged for ease and speed of search and retrieval.

In other words, the databases are a collection of materials: articles, books, ebooks, videos, or other resources, which can be quickly searched by keyword, author, publication or other means. In the case of most of Jeffco's databases, these materials are not available to the general public or standard Internet search engines.

Please watch the video for an introduction to databases and how to effectively use them.

How to Access Jeffco's Databases
