MS Battle of the Books!

What is the Battle of the Books?

Battle of the Books is a program that encourages students to read a variety of good books, have fun, and compete by demonstrating their knowledge of these books.  Students will read as many of the eight books as possible, but are not required to read all eight.  Students are quizzed about the books they have read from the designated Battle of the Books reading list. The list consists of books from different genres including historical fiction, graphic novels, fantasy, nonfiction, realistic fiction, science fiction, and novels in verse. Teams have from December-March to read and then compete in a Battle of the Books competition at our school.
