Course Description

This course offers experience in the marching arts. This course focuses on the development of advanced performance and movement skills specific to wind instruments. Students participate in in-depth studies of wind literature. Performances include school concerts, community events, contests and festivals.

 Every effort is made to enable the student to grow musically and to perform to their potential. There is no required audition.  Students are also eligible to participate in extra-curricular music ensembles such as  Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, orchestra for the musical, auditions for Jeffco Honor Band, All-State Band, and other honor ensembles. 

Additional private study is strongly encouraged.
