Peer review is how we maintain our fiduciary duty to the public to provide independent, quality reports that they can rely on. Peer review is required for any firm performing SOC engagements. In this session, learn about the peer review program, what your firm needs for policies & procedures, what engagements specifically need, and what to expect when your peer review is being conducted.

Understand the basics of the peer review program
Know the difference between a system review and an engagement review
Identify the key elements of firm policies and procedures (including independence requirements) needed for peer review
Identify the engagement requirements for SOC 1 & 2 engagements that peer review will look at
