A Note on Collection Development

The Timber Ridge library supports the freedom to read. While we strive to provide a diverse collection (diverse in format, topic, author, & character representation) for our student body and staff, please know that not every title is interesting and/or appropriate for every user. We want users to have choice with that they read. If you choose a book that makes you uncomfortable or makes your parents/guardians uncomfortable, please return it and I'll help find a book you can completely enjoy.

Parents can help students enjoy the library. Ask students what they are reading and talk to them about their choice. I would be happy to also discuss titles and our library with you.

You can read our collection development policy here.
