Naviance-college and career planning online tools

Naviance is an online program with vast resources for students and their families. It provides several career assessments that are tied to research and include a Gallop assessment as well as high school versions of the Myers-Briggs and an assessment that uses the Holland Codes to help students to find career areas that highlight the students skills and strengths.

Naviance also allows JHS students to research colleges with updated and comprehensive information. College information includes:

  • Cost of attending that college

  • Majors, including what is the top major for that particular college/university

  • Admission requirements and details from the college on what that college consider to be the most important factors for admission

  • Provides the average ACT and GPA for that college

  • Much more! You can search directly for the college or use the supermatch feature to find colleges that fit your criteria. How to use Supermatch is explained in the Naviance Tools section of this page.
