Iowa Community Colleges

Iowa community colleges provide students with great options in both career training and transfer programs as well as options to consider while still at JHS in the form of dual credit or career academy classes. The Community college system has a lower cost per credit hour than a traditional 4-year college/university and many have housing options for their students. The sections below provide more information on the dozens of community college options in the state. Please reach out to your/your student's JHS Counselor for more information about community colleges and JHS students.
