Zearn Student Book Volume 1
Zearn Student Book Volume 2
There are two primary ways to use the Zearn curriculum for kindergarten students. The first way is called the Video Pathway. This is where you, the parent teacher, watch a video lesson with your child and then expand on the lesson by completing the Zearn Problem Set and occasional Fluency practice with your child.
The second option is called the Parent Designed pathway. This is where you, the parent teacher, access the online teaching materials and design your own lesson based on the guided recommendations provided by Zearn.
Learn more about the two options below and reach out to your EF with any additional questions!
The video pathway is the most convenient way to use the Zearn curriculum with your child. In this option, you complete the following steps to teach the lesson:
Watch the short 5-10 minute video lesson with your child
Extend and engage in additional conversation after the video
Complete the daily Zearn Problem Set Worksheet with your child
Have your child complete the Independent Practice (Homework) Worksheet
This pathway provides you with the most customized teaching experience for your child. In this option, you complete the following steps to teach the lesson:
Access the digital teaching guide to make a custom lesson-plan to teach your child the lesson
Teach the lesson to your child using the Zearn guide as your teaching guide
Complete the daily Zearn Problem Set Worksheet with your child
Have your child complete the Independent Practice (Homework) Worksheet
In Kindergarten, the Zearn digital component is an optional component for your child to practice their counting skills with the numbers 0-20. If you would like your child to have access to the Kindergarten digital activities through Zearn, please contact your EF to receive your log-in information.
