Each grade level comes with 3 or 4 Practice Books and Guide Books. The Practice Books are the consumable student workbooks and the Guide Books are the non-consumable books that are returned to the resource center at the end of the year. In addition to the books, your student will have access to the Beast Academy online platform to watch and interact with instructional resources.
Placement Tests:
This program can be used with students for grades 1-5. If your student is on or slightly below grade level, they should take their corresponding level course. For example, an on-level 2nd grade student should use the Level 2 course. If you have a student who has been working above grade level, they can use the placement tests below to determine where they should start in the curriculum. You can also use these placement tests to determine where to start a student who is working far below grade level standards. However, you will also need to ensure the student is still getting access to grade-level content as well as the prior grade level standards.
