IXL is an online practice platform for students to sharpen their math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish skills. Great things about IXL include:

• Includes a diagnostic feature for students to always work on improving holes

• Specific skills can be assigned so that students can work on needed skills

• Has textbook alignments for the majority of JCS recommended curriculum

Downfalls of IXL:

• Only provides DOK 1 level questions (does not provide opportunities to practice higher DOK level questions)

• Students often skip over the feedback that the program gives when a student gets the question incorrect.
