Classlink is a single sign-on service that manages user logins and passwords. Classlink is the recommended starting point for online resources for faculty, staff and students. This year, Classlink should work off campus as it does on campus.

Teachers/staff should walk students through setting up access to the tools they commonly use in class. This can be accomplished by:
Adding apps with students individually OR
Creating a backpack of resources using the Teacher Console
All teachers/staff and students should claim the JCPS Google Accounts. Use the instructions below:
Access to this account is required to participate in Google Classroom, access Google Apps and to access any YouTube content.
Grade level bands district-wide will be using a common LMS to make access more unified and simpler for students.
PreK-3rd: Seesaw and Classroom Websites
4th - 8th grades: Google Classroom
9th - 13th grades: Canvas LMS
For extensive how to instructions for each LMS, see the JCPS Blended Learning Required course in Canvas. You must "Join Course" to gain access to materials. Use the Modules menu button to see the course table of contents and find information.
Remind is a communication tool that will allow teachers and staff to communicate with students and families in a variety of ways:
Phone
Text
The service will allow teachers to contact students and families using text and phone but will mask their personal number and capture data of the phone call to protect school employees and comply with local board policy. See this Remind Onboarding Guide for questions or see the Remind section in the JCPS Blended Learning Required course in Canvas.
