The McKinney-Vento program supports students experiencing housing instability and homelessness who lack a FIXED, REGULAR, and ADEQUATE nighttime residence.
Get help with documents required for enrollment
Enroll immediately and attend class
Participate in school activities and programs
Receive school meals
Remain at the same school or transfer to a new school
The support of the district’s McKinney-Vento liaison
Are you or your family in a temporary living situation ?
If you live in any of the following situations
In a shelter
In a park, campground or on the beach
In a motel or hotel
In a car, abandoned building, or on the street
Living with others due to loss of housing or economic hardship
Inadequate living conditions (lack of utilities, unsafe housing)
Unaccompanied youth experiencing any of the situations above
You may be eligible for services
School supplies and uniforms
Transportation to and from school of origin
Referrals for housing, health care, food, and other services

Provides a variety of services including temporary assistance for various needs like food and cash assistance, etc.

Offers help with housing concerns, home weatherization, community income taxes, emergency aid, parent education, outreach, and more

Provides medical services including dental, mental health support, and walk-in clinics
