Week 12: March 26th

Monday: Today students started our new text, Catcher in the Rye. Here is a link to the online text. We explored some of the themes related to the book and read chapter 1 looking for our first impressions of Holden, our narrator.

Tuesday: Today students continued exploring the themes present in CitR with a four corners activity. We then practiced our close reading skills with the first paragraph of chapter 1. We then continued reading and got through most of chapter 2. Students need to finish reading chapter 2 and read chapter 3 by Thursday. Here is a link to the online text.

Wednesday: Today students did some research regarding the context of our novel. Students need to use the google slides link below according to their hour. Directions are included on the slideshow.
