Our official JCDA Mascot!
Meet Ellie the Elephant 🐘💗
At JCDA, we believe dance is about more than just steps—it’s about heart, connection, and community. That’s where Ellie the Elephant comes in!
Ellie is one of our very special studio friends. She’s graceful, kind, and always dressed to dance in her pink tutu and teal leotard. But more than anything, Ellie is known for her big heart. She loves cheering on our dancers, celebrating their growth, and reminding everyone that they belong.
Throughout the year, Ellie will pop in to visit classes, events, and special moments at the studio. You never know when she might show up to bring a smile, offer encouragement, or celebrate a job well done!
Ellie comes from a magical place called Harmony Hollow, where she grew up dancing alongside her herd to the rhythm of nature. She learned early on that dance isn’t just about movement - it’s about supporting one another, being patient, and lifting each other up. That’s exactly what she brings to JCDA.
One of Ellie’s favorite new things in the 2026-2027 dance year is Ellie’s Heart Wall! 💛
This is a special space where we recognize and celebrate the kindness happening all around us. When dancers show teamwork, encouragement, leadership, or simple acts of kindness, those moments will be displayed on the wall for everyone to see. It’s a beautiful reminder that who we are matters just as much as how we dance.
Ellie believes every dancer is important, every effort matters, and every kind moment deserves to be celebrated. She’s here to remind our dancers that they are strong, capable, and never alone... and that at JCDA, we are truly a family!
