RECITAL PERFORMANCE INFO
All classes work towards one performance in our annual dance recital.
The recital is held the weekend after Memorial Day –

FRIDAY MAY 29 - SUNDAY MAY 31.
Most students typically attend only one show.
Please note: This date and location is subject to change pending auditorium availability, state and federal mandates and our current health climate.
Tuesday-Wednesday of that week, students will be assigned a dress rehearsal day and will need to arrive at the recital location at their allotted time dressed and ready to run their dance on the big stage!
Our Recital Fee is $65.00 for the first dancer,
and $55.00 for each additional dancer in the household.
This includes dress rehearsal fee, prop and set fee, a recital tee-shirt, on-site security and a digital recording of our recital performance for each family in the form of a downloadable video! (DVD's can still be created upon request for an additional fee.)

At JCDA we understand that while you appreciate the dance community you are a part of, your superstar is YOUR CHILD!
For this reason we give students additional free performance opportunities in our shows. We allow any dancer in the tot level and up can participate with their fathers in the Dad’s Dance! (Please note, we welcome all father figures. We definitely understand that sometimes, this means Mommies too!)
We also have a special Mom’s Dance, for all of our mommies to show where our kids got those great moves!
Follow the newsletters for updated info regarding these numbers. Our rehearsals usually occur in The spring, so be on the look out starting in March and April and pencil us in!
The recital performance will require the purchase of a costume, tights and jewelry. (See more about costumes under the “Dance Costumes” section below)

**ATTENTION FAMILIES: The costume pricing information listed above is likely to change. Our costume vendors have alerted us to a potential 15%-25% Tariff Surcharge that may be added to costume prices. This increase is a direct result of the new tariffs imposed by the current administration, which is beyond our control.
We always pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible with our pricing, regretfully, we are unable to absorb these additional tariff costs. Therefore - costume prices will likely be HIGHER than listed above once the market adjusts for these increased costs. We will communicate updated pricing as soon as possible and thank you for your understanding.
At the start of the season, a Costume Measurement Form will be available. Parents are required to size their own child and to turn the costume sheet by PARENT WELCOME WEEK - SEPTEMBER 29 - October 4. Miss Shari and our front desk attendants can help with this step if needed. Please reach out with any questions.

COSTUME MEASUREMENT SHEET, CLICK HERE!
Remember to add about 1-2 inches per measurement, depending on when your child has their yearly growth spurt to ensure costumes are ordered in the correct size for them at their May/June performance!
