HEALTH & SAFETY PROCEDURES
Students that join us for our new season will be safe and comfortable during their time at our studio, while they new new dance skills, interact safely with classmates, and prepare for the end of the year recital! We are working to currently follow all of the adapting guidelines and recommendations for our business from the CDC, as well as anything from local, state and federal agencies. We will be notifying our parents of any changes as they become available.
JCDA has installed a UV Air Filtration System that protects against H1N1, and well as other similar RNA Viruses. We also will be taking time to sanitize our studio regularly, to ensure a safe and clean environment for our students, staff, and dance families. As per the most recent CDC and NYS Recommendations for Sports & Recreation, Masks are optional during class time, and social distancing will be encouraged wherever possible. This year, our lobby will remain open.
DROP-OFF PROCEDURE: Parents may drop dancers off at our Main Entrance, or may escort them into the facility directly. No temperature checks will be required at this time, however sanitizer will be available for our dancers upon entry if so desired. Dancers should not enter the building earlier than 10 minutes before their class. We have opted to transition one of our lobby spaces into an additional dance studio, but parents are welcome to stay during their child's class on the cafe side of our facility. Our Snack Barre will be open and has additional seating available!
PICK-UP PROCEDURE: Dancers will be dismissed into the lobby at their assigned class ending time. Please be timely in picking up your dancer as our teachers often have to prepare for their next class. Families who are leaving for the evening can feel free to use our Cafe door as an exit to eliminate foot traffic issues. THIS DOOR IS EXIT ONLY.
Please note that these policies are subject to change based on our requirements. We thank you for your flexibility and patience.
