As a full-time single mom and a full-time sailor, every day is a balancing act between providing for my daughter and being present for the moments that matter. My five-year-old is at an age where everything feels magical, and seeing the world through her eyes brings me so much joy. Being able to take her to Disney on Ice in 2026 at the Prudential Center would mean the world to both of us. It would give us a rare opportunity to slow down, bond, and create a memory she can carry with her—something bright and special in the middle of our busy lives. This experience would be a reminder that even in challenging seasons, magic and joy are still possible.
I am currently the sole provider for seven children. To try and keep up with expenses, I am juggling multiple jobs on top of working full-time, taking on any available work like house cleaning and delivery services. Despite this effort, I am struggling to stay on top of bills, necessary car repairs, and other essential life costs, as I have not been able to secure any child support. Right now, my biggest challenge is providing stability and emotional well-being for my children as we head into the holidays. It has been overwhelming and deeply sad trying to manage everything alone, and I want to ensure they still experience the joy of the season.
Any form of support would offer immense relief.
• Financial Assistance: Help covering household bills or unexpected expenses (like car repairs) would allow me to reduce the time spent working multiple odd jobs, which is crucial.
• Christmas Relief: Support for gifts, clothes, or holiday meals would help ease the burden of the season and allow me to make Christmas special for the children despite our circumstances.
• A Prayer or Kind Thoughts: Simply sending positive thoughts and prayers for strength and peace over our family is truly appreciated and felt.
Thank you for reading our story and for any love and support you can offer our family during this time
Safe transportation for my children and husband
It began when we heard a thunk while accelerating from a stop sign, we were concerned but figured it wasn't too much to worry about; but it continued to happen. We finally saved the money for a diagnostic to find out what the problem is and we were informed that it is 2 broken engine mounts and the other mount has stress fractures and could break at any time. This is the only mode of transportation we have that supports a car seat. Our wish is to have the vehicle repaired. We were given an estimate that it would cost at least $1k in parts and labor but the shop couldn't be certain until they start the work. We haven't been able to save enough and are driving as cautiously as possible but it's a matter of time until it gets worse. I am scheduled to deploy soon and worry about my family getting around safely while I am gone. With it being the holidays it is making it even more challenging to save and provide any gifts for our children as well.
