Meet Mrs. McCart

Hello JCPS!  

My name is Emily McCart. I’m very excited to join Mrs. Milam as the Media Paraprofessional.  I come with 25 years of early childhood experience. I started out after high school as a certified nanny and have done multiple positions along the way, including private nanny, lead teacher in a daycare, running my own in-home daycare while I raised my oldest girls, and teaching preschool in a private school. 

I have 4 girls age 20, 16, 11, 9, with my high school sweetheart and we are coming up on our 22 year wedding anniversary.  I enjoy being a mom, and my favorite place to be is with my family. 

I cannot wait to help your child grow their love for reading!
