During Read Across America Week, teachers are able to bring their classes into the Media Center where students can read inside a tent with a flashlight!
Read Across America Week is March 3-7. This week is packed with fun activities for students! Each day, there will be a dress-up theme. See the picture to the left for more details!

Join us March 6th for a fun evening of BINGO! If you win a game, you will win a free book! Then, shop our Bargain Book Fair! We will also have take home reading activities for you, and Chick-fil-A will be here, so pick up a tasty meal on your way to the ball field!
All week, we will have a special book fair going on in the Media Center. All paperback books will be on sale for $3, and all hardback books will be $5. This is a great way to buy a few new books without spending a lot!
As part of Read Across America Week, students continued the tradition of reading in tents! Students used flashlights to highlight the words as they read. Many students from Jasper County Middle School also came over and read with students.
Students came to the Media Center to for a reading campout! They were able to read with flashlights inside a tent!
We also had several Middle School Students who visited and read with students as part of the campout!
