Regional Advisory 2025–2026 – October 3, 2025
Teachers and staff will meet with industry members to discuss upcoming trends, workforce needs, and opportunities for our students. These conversations help shape our programs so students are better prepared for real careers.
CTE Leadership Training – November 7, 2025
Students will participate in hands-on activities to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. This training is designed to help them grow as leaders both in the classroom and in future careers.

My name is Ms. Fernandez, and along with Mr. Cid, we are delighted to be your Career Specialists from the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program (IVROP). We are based at the College Access Center, conveniently located in Room 36.
Our mission is to support and guide you through your journey in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, helping you develop essential career readiness and employability skills. Whether you're exploring different career paths, preparing for your future profession, or seeking assistance with job applications, resumes, and interviews, we are here to provide the guidance and resources you need to succeed. Additionally, we offer valuable information on various career pathways, workshops, and networking opportunities.

There are 15 identified industry sectors. CTE currently offers training based upon current and future labor market demands and programs are focused on those career sectors where there is proven local industry demand and sufficient student interest and need.
