Marica De Vincenzi Award

In this year's edition of IGG, the Fondazione ONLUS Marica De Vincenzi offers two awards of € 500 each for the best two papers accepted and presented at IGG49 by two Italian researchers without a tenure-track position.

The award winners will be announced during the IGG49 concluding remarks (on 23 February 2024 at 6:30 pm).

Eligible candidates are those who meet the following three requirements:

First author of an abstract accepted and presented (as a poster or oral presentation) at the main conference of IGG49;
Non-tenure position (e.g., Master's student, Ph.D. student, post-doctoral research fellow, etc.);
Italian citizenship.

This year's candidates were directly notified of their eligibility by the IGG49 Organizing Committee.

The award is assigned by a selection board composed of the following three members:

Two members of the Marica De Vincenzi foundation: Proff. Maria Teresa Guasti and Luigi Rizzi;
One member of the IGG49 Organizing Committee: Sarah Rossi.
